Day 3 of the WMC

The Rosamar is a well maintained Aparthotel which was spotlessly clean. The staff throughout the hotel worked very hard and were always very cheery. We usually bought breakfast in the dining/bar area which was very good. There was a large size pool with plenty of loungers. However, weather was not too great the week we were there with only a couple of really sunny days and a couple of days rain.

The Rosamar is a good 45 minute walk around to San An. However the water taxis and bus service were very cheap and reliable.

We particularly enjoyed going over to Cafe Mambo for a few drinks and a plate of Nachos to watch the sunset, the atmosphere there was terrific. The cafes around the fountains in San An are also very good.

Places which we really enjoyed eating in were Smuggler Inn (across road from Rosamar) and Libertys (about half way between Rosamar and San An).
Took a bus to Ibiza town. Very enjoyable evening having a look around the stalls in the harbour and the shops. Very good bus service to and from San An which only took about 25 minutes.

Took the tourist train for the 2 hour trip. It was good value and nice to see a bit of Ibiza other than San Antonio. Be prepared that the train driver is mad and full of corny jokes!!

All in all had a fantastic time and hope to return to Ibiza. Next time would probably stay nearer San An as most of our evenings were spend around the sunset cafes.

With sea and pool views. The apartments are clean and well maintained with adequate sized balconies.

The beach in front of the apartments is mainly used by ‘residents’ of the zodiac and there are always enough sun loungers situated under thatched sun shades for those who prefer the beach – the pool being only a few steps away – with the restaurant and bar for a welcome cold drink or a nice cup of tea.

Nearly everyone who stays at the zodiac comes back year after year – a couple we met this year had been spending their holidays there for 30 years! It was our fourth year this year and we will certainly be coming back again. Thank you.

Staff very friendly as you would expect from a small (2 story) family run hotel.
As for the food there always seemed to be something I liked

The atmosphere is brilliant; everyone’s needs are being catered for. In our party there was 3 adults and 2 children, 10 and 12, one of which was in a wheelchair. The hotel is spot on for disabled access, which we were really happy about! The bay and the town are also reasonably flat which was another bonus!

San Antonio bay and the town are brill, they have something for everyone and I would recommend it to everyone. Being 17 myself obviously I wanted to experiment the nightlife, which I did when my friends arrived in the apartments. All the clubs are amazing (expensive though so take plenty of money. I would say well over a £1000 if you’re self catering and going for 2 weeks). But you can have just as good a night in the West end of San Antonio with plenty of bars and pubs to keep you busy.

The best thing about the hotel was the waiters, Miguel, Antonio, Amelillio and junior Miguel (we called him). They should have been part of the entertainment! They made our holiday perfect, and we all really felt at home and didn’t want to leave :’(

The only reason I think this hotel is a 2 star is because of the food which had weird combinations so it would be a good idea to go self catering if you’re picky and don’t like to try new things.

The rooms have been done up and are extremely clean, the friendly maids are in everyday cleaning your room and giving you new towels, it really is more like a 3 star I think and so did my family and friends.

We’re all going back next year to experience the fantastic time we have already had at the Ses Savines. This holiday was a truly memorable experience and if I got asked to go back this second I would! It has something for everyone, all of the staff are excellent and oh nearly forgot Lucho (think that’s how you spell it) he was in charge of the entertainment every night including at Ses Savines sister hotel Arenal which wasn’t a patch on Ses Savines at all, fair enough it might look posh but I’d rather have the friendly atmosphere and the waiters at Ses Savines.

Go to this hotel if you want a brilliant holiday that isn’t going to cost you a fortune. I’m going back next year with my friends this time. I can’t wait, I’m counting the days already!! Lucy x

The pool is nice and the surrounding areas are kept clear ad clutter free. There´s a small bar poolside too that is well stocked and offers snacks and drinks throughout the day.

There is good washing machine and dryer available as well as a whole host of rentable items like irons, hairdryers, straighteners, CD players etc. Email the resort direct prior to coming and they can see if they can accommodate any specific requests prior to arrival. Everyone is very friendly. Internet access too here!

With numerous beaches around the area, the closest being about a 5 minute walk away and continuing all along the front towards San Antonio (about 20 minute walk along the front with various pubs along the way) and in the other direction where we found a much nicer choice of bar/restaurants/pubs for those with children or who do not want to spend time clubbing all the time – also cheaper this end of the Bay we could not complain about a lack of things to do or see.

Buccaneers bar – the best with great friendly staff who made you feel really welcome. The excursions provided by Airtours were varied, unfortunately for those arriving on Sunday if you want to do the Tour of the Island consisting of a visit to the caves and vineyards with wine tasting, best you advise your rep on arrival as we missed out as we were only advised during our briefing on Monday – too late. The boat trip to Es Vedra was a great day out, cruise around island, champagne cocktail, champagne diving, stop at a lovely beach for a picnic lunch and a sing along on the way.

We also did the trip the Hippy Market in Es Canara which was ok but we found two and a half hours stay there a bit long so wondered into the town to see the most spectacular views overlooking the sea. Well worth the trip for that alone. You can catch a bus from San Antonio to Ibiza town for Euro 1.55 one way and it is well worth the trip to walk through the old town exploring the tine side streets, visiting the cathedral, etc. A nice day out. We also took the little train from San Antonio for a 20km trip through the back streets of the island, again an enjoyable trip.

Stay away from Reco’s BBQ as already warned as it was a disaster but you never know, they may learn by their mistakes! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us especially after I had my handbag snatched – ladies beware – by a cyclist! Let your man walk on the road side or leave your bag at home. There was a children’s playground at the hotel too with a swing and slide – not much but at least something.

We would stay there again as it was within walking distance

This was our second visit to the milord, its a great place to take your family, good food, decent entertainment and a very good entertainment team. The rooms are spotless and all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The highlight of my holiday though was an act called diamond klass they are the best cabaret act I have seen for a long time and I have seen a lot.

One of the best things about this hotel is that it has an indoor pool/sauna/Jacuzzi and gym in the basement all available to its guests

There are two fair size pools and lots of little pools. The beach is right on the door step of the hotel and not that busy. There are sun beds and umbrellas. The water is really clear and there is lots of water sports and trips that you can book for quite a reasonable price from the hotel.
The food is well liked and vistors who have been before have said the food is the reason they returned
